Delete your account and data

Delete from the app

Sign in to the eidetic account you want to delete. A recent sign-in is required.
Open Privacy & account, then choose Delete account & household.
Read the shared-data warning and confirm the destructive action.
If the app reports a cleanup failure, retry or contact support. Do not assume deletion completed until it is confirmed.

For a single-owner household, this removes the account and its active household records, including uploaded sources, packets, associated extracted data, actions, related-record links, and calendar receipts. Legacy shared or multiple-household cases need support verification.

Request deletion without the app

Email brandon@paperplanes.digital with the subject Eidetic account and data deletion request. Send from the email associated with the account where possible, and state that you want the account and associated household data deleted.

If you used Hide My Email, identify the Apple relay address shown in your account when you can. If you cannot access that address, tell us you need an alternative identity check. Do not send identity documents or other sensitive proof unless a suitable verification process has been agreed.

We verify that you control the account and have authority over the household before deleting or disclosing information. We may ask you to complete a sign-in or another reasonable verification step. You will receive a response about verification or completion; this page does not promise an unverified completion deadline.

What deletion changes

Deleting an owner’s household can remove shared records for every member. Discuss shared records with the household before requesting deletion.

Original photos in your device library and events already saved in a device calendar remain there. Delete them separately using those apps if desired. Removing eidetic from your device does not by itself delete cloud records.

Provider backups, safety/security logs, pending upload cleanup, and information that must be kept for legal reasons are subject to the retention limits described in the privacy policy. We do not promise immediate erasure of every provider backup or data already submitted for AI processing.

Delete one photo or packet instead

Use the packet’s Delete control or delete the corresponding processing-history entry to remove that uploaded source and its packet records without closing the whole account. This also revokes processing consent for that source. If deletion reports an error, retry or contact support.
